One player who looks like staying at the Walkers Stadium is Max Gradel.

Pearson has confirmed the winger will return to City when his loan spell at Leeds ends on Monday.

Leeds boss Simon Grayson would like to engineer a permanent move for the Ivorian, but Pearson told the Mercury in November that the player was not in sale.

He reiterated that yesterday and said: "I've made the decision. It's no different to what I said weeks ago. His loan's up and he's coming back."

However, I can't see him being given a go on the left so don't think he'll get a proper chance (Oakley looks set to stay on the right). He's a different sort of player to Oakley, Gally & N'Guessan, so could be useful.
