Bates probably took advice from our board on the worst possible timing for a sacking. Only makes sense if they have Warnock waiting in the wings to take over.

Astonishing move by Leeds.............surely you'd have sacked Grayson at the start of Jan to allow the new manager the transfer window to switch things around. The again, when did logic ever have a place in football?

Why would Warnock take that on?
Surely he wants a break?
Was he paid off by QPR in a way which would allow him to take another job so quickly?

Bates even waits until after the Jan window closes so he doesnt have to give the new manager any cash.

Howson, Gradel, Johnson + Schmeichel all been sold and yet they are still in with a shout.

Saying all that I hate Leeds anyway so hope Bates bleeds them dry!

Seems a bit strange this one but can't see Bates making this call without havibg someone else lined up. As others have already said, its got to be our mate Col!!

Wouldn't be the worst move in the world as Warnock is about as good as they get at this level but still doesn't make it any less harsh on Grayson.
