I live in Carlisle and Worley came on a month's loan to Carlisle in August 2007. As I remember he only played in one match, against Cheltenham Town. This an extract from a Carlisle web-site match report,

"The Cumbrians gave a debut to on-loan Chelsea defender Harry Worley, but the teenager suffered a torrid game and was booked for petulantly kicking the ball away. He was then lucky to avoid a second yellow card for an elbow on Paul Connor and the hapless loanee was substituted at half-time before he could get himself sent off."

As I understand it that was his only game for Carlisle. Anyone can have a "torrid game" but it makes you wonder though!!! I hope I'm wrong

about par for the course I think......:icon_roll

I set the scene....Norbo is suspended for the last game of the season. N;gotty or Worley for the replacement. City lose we are down. Do ya go for the 38 year old experience players whose got a medal collection in the vein of a war veteran or a 19 year old with next to nought experience and former boyfriend of a Big Brother contestant.

Saying that I have never seen him, as I guess most of us on here haven't

Iv neither saw nor heard of him but iv watched n'gotty and its not good. So either way its a risk.

I think this mean goodbye to Kis at the end of the season.

what.... because they have brought in some unproven 19 year old? If he was any good do you think Chelsea would let him go?

I suspect that we wouiild be more likely to dump the overpaid useless lump of turd that is Bruno N'Gotty - although that will be easier said than done

Apparently Chelsea offered him a new deal. "Apparently"

Oooh and don't forget, we beat the mighty Preston to sign Worley - what a transfer coup!!

:tumbleweed:

Mmmmm, short memories some people, it was only three days ago........remember.

Hence why I said 'mighty Preston' and also why I said it was such a transfer coup that we beat them to Worley.

:icon_wink

Muzzy WHO?

There's no reason to expect great things but equally no reason to just assume he's shite.

different era now they have money, if this lad was anygood they would be able to afford to keep him without blinking.

I think its more to do with Chelsea no longer bringing players through their Youth Scheme, they just go out and buy a player if they want one so Worley never really sttod a chance of getting into the first team. They have Terry,Carvalaho,Alex,Ben whatits name and Essien can play Centre Half.
