Leicester City Football Club has today confirmed that Harry Worley has left the club by mutual consent.

The young defender made two appearances for the Foxes, having signed for the club in the 2007/08 season from Premier League Chelsea.

Worley spent large parts of his time at Leicester on loan, taking in spells at Luton Town and more recently Crewe Alexandra, where he made 23 appearances for the Railwaymen during the 2009-10 campaign.

I would just like to add (sarcasm-free) that when I saw him against Stoke on that fateful day we went down, he played really well, in fact one of our better players that day. Admittedly, on that basis alone, I was very surprised that he didn't get more of a chance in League One with us. So not seeing more of him makes it strange that he wasn't given the opportunity to contribute a little more, but there you are.

Best of luck Harry!

Watched him at Burton last year for Crewe. Best defender on show....better than Parkes.:icon_roll Not for us but he'll do a job elsewhere.

Haha! I've just looked at the thread when he signed-IH was delighted we beat off competition from Preston for him......why anyone would think we were a bigger club than them? He's not only been a waste of money but is obviously deluded.
