I would have been seething if a major player had got injured, however we were spared. Will you be jumping up and down at wembely if we finish 7th in the league?????

For a lot of the first half it looked as though it could become a nightmare. Well on top in the first ten minutes but then we lost it and could easily have conceded.
Second half was a completely different story. Once Howard got the first, there was only going to be one winner.
And yes if we finish 7th in the league and we get to Wembley i will be their singing my heart out for the lads, getting behind my team.

This is the kind of game where fringe players get the chance to prove their worth - and to prove that they are worthy deputy for your major players. If only for that, this kind of competition is essential.

What do you fail to understand? We lose say Howard with a broken leg for the season, no target man up fron which affects our league games, and for what?

Howard could just as easily break a leg in a league game. We've got to be ready for it - and this kind of game allows experiments to be made.

I haven't read through all the posts, so apologies if this has been pointed out, but there are rules attached to the JPT stating that you are only allowed to rest so many "1st team players" and if you do, you are fined and publicly flogged, or something similar.
