Yes, well only a fool wouldn't realise what happened there.:icon_roll:icon_conf

Just for reference though Newts. Your opinion that you just gave, isn't that the same opinion that every single one of us has?

But your opinion was:

Yep, them players might sign, but then again they might not, it might be tomorrow, but then again it might not. It might not even be them players.

How can anybody not believe that!!!!!

:icon_conf:icon_conf:icon_conf:icon_conf:icon_conf

Great decision

Why do we need Hayes when Hume plays so well in that position

Plus we've got Sheehan, and probably Kenton (well, the useless fecker has played everyhwere else) as back up

Keep it up Ollie :038:

Or... we've already signed the Hungarian, who plays the same position as Hayes, and more wingers/midfielders are coming in so Hayes is surplus to requirements.

Sorry if that doesn't fit the "Holloway is destroying our club" theme though. What a bastard, how dare he ship out a player we don't use and get replacements in! Damn him to hell!

Aha Brilliant homer :038:

You're really gonna upset 'em now, they'll be getting restless as we speak :icon_lol:

They'll be burning "homer dolls" on the streets of all the Leicestershire towns tonight :icon_lol:

You'll go down in folklore Homey :023:

I will be able to see the flames from here

Agree, at a time when we are screaming out for wingers, one of the only 'real' ones we have got goes out on loan for the rest of the season :102:
Not saying he would be first choice, but well worth a place on the bench IMO.

My impression is that we did look a bit more balanced when he was given a run as a sub - but I don't think he's good enough to make real difference.

I think he will enjoy his football better at Northampton - and I doubt we will see him play again for Leicester.

DOLLS? They will track him down and add him to the new years burning list. :068:

Brilliant post.

It's good to see posts from people who know whats going on behind the scenes and know the reason behind the deal.

Imagine if you made that post with zero knowledge of what you were talking about, that would be silly.

homer's gone offline, I suspect he's been dragged out his house already.

Someone call the Rozzers :icon_bigg

I'll be suprised if all those come in.

Still not sure whether Brad Johnson is a LW or a CM, but if he is a winger then we'll go from having none to quite a lot.
We'd have Lackzo, Martin and Johnson, all as left wingers. 2 is fair enough, 3 seems excessive? Unless we plan on playing one of them on the right or in the centre.

Left footed CM, sometimes plays wide.
A swap was mentioned as part of the original Bradley Johnson deal so this may well have been what was talked about. Although it may seem strange buying a young promising midfielder whilst loaning out another midfielder of the same age I think the stats tell the story. Hayes has played 22 first class games ( 4 for Forest Green, 11 sub appearances for MK Dons, 1 + 6 as sub for Leicester ) whereas Johnson has started 44 games for Northampton plus another 25 whilst on loans at Ebbsfleet and Stevenage.
I assume that Ollie doesn't see him getting many starts, so a loan move makes sense and he may well come back a better player.

I'm not sure if the Johnson deal is going through though. I spoke to a Northampton director last Friday who told me that the deal had fallen through because "his agent tried to screw you". His agent obviously thinks that Leeds will pay more.
