Yes it does matter I want to know who is going to be playing for us next year and who isn't. People don't know who is going to be on the list they are just guessing and predicting.

It'll just be a list of players who are really shit or out of contract - Powell, Edworthy, Hayles and a few academy players etc - you shouldn't need a list to tell you who won't be playing a role in the side next season, isn't it obvious players like Hayles won't be playing for us?

There won't be anyone of any significance at all on the list - it's not like we're gonna release Oakley, Fryatt and Howard is it? Therefore, who cares?

The only reason I say you're getting worked up about it is because you're saying that we 'surely?!' need to release a list soon - it's a totally trivial matter that I'm pretty sure no-one's that bothered about.

I shall be interested to see if Adams and DJ Campbell are on the list. I have a liking for Adams who is energetic and surely one of the bravest players in the club. I think the club expected him to be the regular right winger but Gradel seized his chance in the pre-season friendlies. I don't think that Adams has the skill for championship football but could still do well in League One. It may be a delusion on my part but I always feel that DJ is a better player than he has shown here.

Unless it is 'released by mutual consent' which normally means an agreed part-paid contract.
