Another manager I would consider would be Graham Taylor, who has enjoyed considerable success at this level with Watford, I think he could do a decent job here.

Please god, no. That would be like jumping up and down on a sinking boat.

I don't believe Kelly will be paid off as I think the board and Kelly will be keen for him to revert to a backroom role, remember he will have built quite a bit of loyalty up after last season.

As for O'Leary, whilst he has managed at the highest level with Leeds in the Champions League, I am not convinced he is the type of manager we need at present. I would prefer a Manager who has a proven record and experience at this level, my preferred options would be :

Steve Cotterill (Although I doubt we can afford him now)
Brian Little
Joe Royle
Nigel Worthington (If and when he is sacked by Norwich)
George Graham (Might just fancy another crack back at management and would no doubt sort out the under performers)
Sacked today and now available but personally don't think he would be the right choice for us.

Delap has gone there on loan today.
Hasn't he only recently signed for Sunderland. :102:

But that doesn't mean the club they're playing for is paying all their wages.
So why couldn't we sign them without paying their wages?, why Stoke over Leicester?

Where do you get the 'normally 50/50' thing from?

Well I can only expect/summarise that a Premier club expect a Championship club to pay at least half for one their professionals who is simply not in the picture at their current club.

If they were 3 things, a) a young lad needing experience b) recovering from injury, c) on a deal which sees them join the team after loan deal finished then 50/50 can be excepted at least.

Do you know otherwise?

Without quoting figures ( as my boss is his agent ) we were not even paying half of Stuart Taylor's wages when he was here.
