Apparently pure heroin itself isn't that addictive or 'bad' but thats not what you get over here and its the stuff that its mixed with when used over here that causes the 'problems'

Proper uncut heroin is going for around £20 per 100g. The cheaper alternative being methadone which goes for about £2/£3 per 100mg.

Someone close to me is on it, was supposed to be on Methadone but isn't taking it.

He's getting thrown out of where he is living tonight and my dad won't have anything to do with him.

Seems that lying and stealing is par for the course for an addict

3 years, jesus. He's been on it for about 2/3 months that we know of. Has 4 kids, he's a bit of a **** up anyway but this is a new low.

He was given a weeks supply of Methadone because the docs thought he was honest and not hooked enough to supply himself daily, it appears he was mistaken.

It's a sorry state of affairs.

Not heroin, that goes for £2 or £3 a wrap now, which is about half a gram. That's why it's so vile as any kid that get's exposed to drugs can afford to buy smack before they can afford to buy weed or hash.

That's all rubbish. You can get coke for £35 a gram, weed is being knocked out closer to £150 (even £160) an oz and, as I said before, smack costs less than a fiver. Unless they are talking about pure heroin but you'll never see anything close to pure heroin being knocked out on the streets.
