Highland's Kitchen Nightmares

Now I'm on my Bob Todd again,I know thats hard to believe but concentrate on the Thread ladies,I'm cooking more.Just simple stuff but I have trouble with certain foods.Poached Eggs for a start..can't do them.Any advice from anyone...other than **** off that is

Do them in a decent non-stick frying pan. Heat approx1" of water to the point that bubbles form but not boiling then put the egg in. Then keeping the heat low so it doesnt boil spoon water over the top. Takes 2 mins and its dead easy to do.

Get a spoon and stir it round quickly in your pan of water, making a mini whirlpool
Gently drop your chucky egg into it
Experiment with the timing - but usually as long as it takes to make a slice of toast

Thats where I'm going wrong,I'm not making a mini whirlpool for my chucky egg.I shall go homey womey and get a lickle chuckty egg and try it,hopefully it will be yummy forr my tummy...

Easier this way because it doesnt spread out and go everywhere. Plus you can control easier in a frying pan.
