I like the subtle change in the introduction.

Was hoping for at least a glimmer of someone special last night, but no, no hidden gems in that team. CB's were turned and burned last night, very poor. Midfield was bypassed, Weslowski and Porter should have been able to make an impression against hinckley united but it was only when Hayes (yes Hayes!) came on that we looked capable of threatening. billy Kee looked like he may be of use at some stage. Bit of a bruiser who seemed to enjoy the physical battles against the Hinckly CB's. THe goals came from keeper errors on United side. Verma made no impresssion. Sappleton had no control of the ball. Craig King had more touch but there was such a big gap between midfield and the forwards he never really got going. Cock up of the night came when hayes was through on goal and another one of our strikers came from an offside position and took the ball of his toe only to then miss an open goal and get flagged for offside. Get him in the 1st team! LOOL

It certainly wasn't me.

I would have left out the words "of top flight football"

That must of been added at a later date, it never said that when I first read it.

I was under the impression that Sappleton was out of contract this summer... presumably that's not the case?
