I was supposed to be in Plymouth bank holiday weekend for some UK diving, had to cancel that now though.

I'm hoping to be in Porthkerris in about a month's time depending on the state of health of Mrs SJN.

Maybe, if all goes well, we might manage a fortnight in Sharm to spend some of my redundancy money and then it's the Farne Islands in October, followed by Tenerife for Christmas.

Cornwall (especially the Scilly Isles), North Wales, West coast of Scotland, Cairngorms/Speyside, Shetland Isles - all well worth a holiday IMO.

My last holiday was Belize in February Great place!

Any of you divers been out there? World class reefs and attols. We didn't go to the coast this time (I'm more of a jungle type personally) but we went right out to Glover's Reef last time where the missus racked up her 150th dive (I just snorkeled - the idea of breathing underwater doesn't appeal to me somehow).

Great diving, loads of seals to swim with which can be a bit hairy at times. The Somali wreck from WW2 is a good wreck dive to, but must get the tides right.
