That was very nice of you
There is no doubt I probably did when setting up my hub.
Anyways, maybe God had enough of laughing at me, things on the upwards turn.
That was very nice of you
No it wont i sorted the firewall and passworded the network
WEP can be cracked in a matter of minutes I'm afraid newts.
If your router supports WPA you'd be well advised to use it, or get another router that does support WPA.
yes it dose support it ill change it now thank mate
It'll stop people like me using up your bandwidth allowance. :icon_lol:
*edit: It is also actually easier to set up than WEP, arguably.

Top bombing mate.
On a similar subject, I have just passed the 14 stone mark. Ouch.
I remember that moment.....just.
Annoyed! I have to go to a disciplinary meeting tomorrow because I failed to disclose a 20yr old motoring offence as a criminal conviction on my CRB and application form, and have been accused of deliberately falsifying information to get the job. FFS

and you werent? :icon_lol:
It is a general rule that a 20 year old motoring offence is a spent conviction unless you were sent to prison for 2½ years or more - you do not have to declare it in a job application. There are exceptions however in the case of certain listed occupations where even a spent conviction should be declared. Is the job in this list?
In my long experience of employing people to work with people under 18, I can honestly say that motoring convictions 20 years ago were ignored unless there was another reason not to ignore them. Even drink-drive offences were ignored after 10 years in the absence of other doubts.
Did the application form make it clear that spent convictions had to be disclosed and give the reason why?
Do you think this is genuinely the reason why you are facing a disciplinary hearing? Have you asked your union for advice? Will you be represented at the hearing?
The job is in a secondary school. I have spent 11 years working in schools and have now undergone 5 different checks and never had this problem before. They are saying that I deliberately falsified information by not disclosing criminal convictions on my application for or at the interview.
I wasn't aware that motoring offences were criminal convictions, but it seems that an offence of driving without insurance back in 1986 has shown up and it is for this that I have to attend an interview in order that they can decide whether their is enough evidence to issue formal disciplinary proceedings.
The application only asked for criminal convictions.
Seems a bit like a steamhammer to crack a nut, but there we are, I have to go along this afternoon and see what they say.
I don't plan to be represented at this stage as my union membership lapsed following my redundancy back in August
