Howard Takes February Gong
February Awards

Steve Howard claimed his second consecutive player of the month award after the opinion of the fans voted him better than anyone else who played long enough to be considered. Howard had a rollercoaster month but three top performances against Walsall, Hartlepool and Bristol Rovers saw him through to take top spot.

Mark Bunn was closest to Howard despite only being around during the latter half of February, although his penalty save against Bristol Rovers went a long way towards him earning his place in the top three. David Martin didn't quite play long enough to be considered so this allowed Jack Hobbs to sneak in for third place.

Lloyd Dyer was comfortably the poorest player throughout February, being rated considerably lower than Bruno Berner and Kerrea Gilbert who were also in contention for the much maligned flop of the month title. Dyer also put in the two worst performances of the month with a shocker from Wayne Brown also making the bottom three.

Tom Cleverley's performance against Walsall impressed the fans the most, with Mark Bunn's penalty heroics ranking second and Steve Howard's efforts against Hartlepool making third.

Yes, he's the best player overall but hasn't been consistently voted the best player.
Not that hard to grasp is it?

What!!:icon_neut
what does pearson see in him?
he's the most waste of money this club has ever had
he tries to control it and it goes out for a throw in
he passes it and it goes to the other team
he's awful
we need a decent striker for when we go up cus we wont survive with people like him in the team

These are ratings from all the fans voting after watchin each game

So they, and thankfully Pearson, realise that he's the single most important player we have

Maybe one day you might understand football enough to realise why

ok maybe i was a bit harsh
i just dont think hes as good as everyone thinks
i think the worst part is that he's very unconsistant
he can play amazing one game and awful the next.

Are you the real Muzzy Izzet? If so, I have a bone to pick with you.

NO:)
why do you have a bone to pick with him?

He dissed my little girl after the pre-season friendly against Waterford Utd in 2003.

I won't lie to you, when I catch up with him it won't be pretty.

and that statement shows why you will never be a football manager, I don't think you go to the matches do you? and I bet you never played the game either.

Well all I can say is that we wouldn't be top without Fryatt's goals, and Fryatt wouldn't have got half of them if it wasn't for Howard, so where would be be if he wasn't in the side?( No matter whether he should be in the team next season, as that's irrelevant at the mo)

actually iv got a season ticket at leicester and go to quite a few away games. and yes, i have played the game before. But i take back what i said yesterday about Howard. looking back at it i can see that i was harsh. I thought he had a very good game today. He took his goal very well
