"Good service" works both ways. his first touch passes are truly awful and rarely find their intended mark. He needs to be told to stop doing it and control the ball first before making the pass.

I would be interested to see our strikers goals/shots ratio compared to the top prem strikers. I agree Hume misses a fair few as does Fryatt, but they are few and far between. With the service given I reckon they probably don't get the chance to shoot more than 3 or 4 times a game, and a lot of those are when they have had to track back to get the ball from our inept midfield.

I agree he's not the messiah, but I don't think he has had anywhere near good enough service
