Fellaini charged as well, of course. Both have until 6p.m. tomorrow to respond.

Commenting on the ChelSpuds match -

Brilliant! Don't ever change, Huthy.

Think his performance against ManCity may be my favourite individual performance from any Leicester player ever. He was just godly that day!

Is that the Charity Shield? I never know if that is the last match of the old season or the first of the new.

I've got a feeling that it might be the first league game of the season. I know that in the past the Charity Shield was not counted as a first-class fixture; that's why Steve Whitworth's goal against Liverpool didn't officially count. I'm presuming that the Community Shield is the same but I may be wrong.

If those two have been charged then the panel will soon be charging.

Dembele 3 - 5 games - eye gouging.
Lamela 3 games - stamping (f#cking sly aswell)
Walker 3 games - violent conduct
Pochettino - touchline ban for entering the field of play and pushing Fabregas.
£25-50k ban for 2nd instance of failing to control players (twice in the game and 2nd time in last 2 games)

They can't sanction Dier or Rose as their offences were seen but both committed FOUR bookable challenges (2 of Diers were reds) in the game. Perhaps it is Clattenburg who should get sanctioned for that.

They should be fielding 5 or 6 enforced changes for the next game, on top of Alli's suspension for punching, after what can only be described as 'losing their shit' collectively in the 2nd half.

I wanted to commend Spurs as being a great young, predominantly English side who had put up a worthy fight. But after seeing yesterday's game it was a f#cking disgrace and doesn't bode well for our chances under pressure in tournaments. If you can make Costa and Terry look magnanimous then you must be a shambles....

Lamela is a sneaky little bastard, I remember watching a game last year with him waving imaginary yellow cards around every time there was a foul on Spurs player. He managed to get away with it somehow.

Interesting - I've never seen the term "first class fixture" applied to a football fixture. I thought it didn't count towards because it isn't a 'competitive' fixture. I'm just guessing but I doubt if he will be allowed to play in the Shield game whilst he is serving out a ban.

Said on SSN earlier if he is banned for 3 games it will be the last 2 and then the first PL game and not the Charity Shield.

And his goal against Spurs, could be argued that has been the difference between the teams.

Competitive fixture is the correct term. Mea culpa.

I can't see a ban stopping him appearing in the fixture. If we had qualified for that part of the Champions League or Europa League that requires games to be played before the Premier League starts, I am sure he would be in the starting line-up.
