It gives me no pleasure to post this, but I have noticed that some people ( not particularly on this site ) at the same time as asking the club to either spend money they have not got or to hold the directors upside down to shake out their last bit of spare cash, are also those who are not going to the Spurs game because a) the team is playing badly b) they can't be arsed to get out of their armchairs or c) give some sort of message to the Board. Hypocritical fickle boneheads! FFS, we are playing a name club who are 4th in the Prem. Isn't it going to give a great impression of our football club with vast swathes of empty seats, i.e. a bunch of fair weather supporters. It pains me to say this, but if it was F@res*t at home it would be a damned near sell-out. And that, ladies and gentlemen is why Leicester City will always be a small town club. It will not stop me supporting them, but because of the factors I have mentioned, because we do not have a large passionate following who will support their club in person through thick and thin, some people ought to get a sense of perspective. I hope I am wrong, and Sunday's game is well attended, but somehow I doubt it.:( :( :(

Totally agree RS, I have been one of the Bonehead Army, but regardless of the fact CL remains at the club, I will still be there on sunday, despite the effects of Man Flu ( I know what a trooper !) and I have got my ticket for Sheffield Wednesday. Also regardless of whether we get relegated, I will still proudly wear my LCFC shirt on holiday, renew my season ticket next season, and attend as many away games as humanly possibly.

Less than 10K? You are kidding me right? Dyrham - ~It'll be over 20K, easy.

You reckon. I know a load of season ticket holders who wont be there. So if they cant be arsed why would anyone else?

I am going but I expect less than 10k tbh
I'm getting my arse down there too, but think 10k a bit short Durham. Spurs are bringing 5k + the ones in 'our' end. I think it will be around the 24k mark

Won't be over 20,000....16,563 is mu guess.
I think we will win....seriously.

i think the club is struggling to get rid of tickets. can get young adult ones for a tennar and haven't all ST holders had the offer of 2 at 15 quid each?

its cheaper than a league match!

It is but they are still staying away in droves.

I still managed to get my season ticket seats a good 2 weeks after they were released.

i dont think people wanna go watch their team get completely humiliated on a cold sunday afternoon when they could do it in the comfort of their own home/pub.

i think bbc is the biggest factor for the small crowd

I reckon the crowd will be between 18 and 23k. It is going to be a major embarrasment to the club that such a glamourous tie has failed to grab the public's attention. Could be the final nail for CL TBH.

I can't go due to being on call for work and not being able to be more than 15 mins from home. I'd have probably been there otherwise.

To be fair to CL, I have to says it's not his fault, it's the fickle Leicester public. BTW, being a bit long in the tooth, this is not a new phenomenon, Leicester fans have always been this way, and as I intimated earlier, because of this they get the team/club/manager they deserve.

So why are there some 19 clubs above us with lower average attendances and none below with higher?

I agree, averaging around 20k for a side in our position is not too bad, but as football is an entertainment and results orientated industry, sooner or later the crowds will start to vote with their feet. IMO the board for their current pricing policy and the manager for what has been a truly shocking season have to share the responsibility. I am fed up with hearing that our current plight is the supporters fault and not that of a inept manager.

I am only really talking about those that stay away, but still want the club to show ambition and splash the cash. It is everyone's right to stay away, but I just feel we have a higher proportion of stay away fans who still want to have their tuppneyhappneyworth and question why the club isn't spending any money, but are not prepared to put money in the club's coffers by actually supporting the team.

I want to go to the game, but because of lack of funds it looks like Lineker & co is the answer.

I'm going, so look out for my FA Cup made out of cardboard and tin foil with the words "Hello Talking Balls" written in biro on it. I'll be the one just behind the goal reading The Sunday Sport by the way.
