This result just emphasises how much we have needed Levein.
City are a strictly limited outfit as has been emphasised on countless occasions.
It was the illogical start-of-season optimism and the predictions of "championship favourites", particularly from pressmen who should have known better, which left me gasping.
Just as I said of Coventry, this club has been in need of a footballing enema and Levein, I am sure, is the man to give it one.
It's not just Pieman, who seems to be main man for the blame just now. How many goals have our strikers scored this season?. We had two centre-backs who failed to defend today's cross as well as Pieman. How many goals have our wingers scored? How many clean sheets have we enjoyed?
Think of the "nearly" games we have had this season and it is obvious the little things, including the little lapses of concentration by Pieman and others too, that have had dire consequences.
It Levein achieves the unlikely this season and gets us up it will be a huge achievement. But as I said pre-Adams departure, it is most important that we build something strong and we build something lasting at City.
If it takes time, so what. The enema will only clear the system. Refuelling with footballing goodies will take longer. Now really is the time to have faith.

To be fair to the centre halves and the other defenders at the corner, the ball was in the 6 yard box at head height, this has always been 'keeper's ball' as far as I know. Its basic keeping - claim everything inside the 6 yard box and let the defenders defend the rest.

Pressman got sandwiched though and sandwiches and Pressman don't mix, ask his dietician (sorry for swearing Kev.)

Pressman is rooted to his line every time a cross or corner comes in - his one major weakness. That and his monumental handling errors every now and again, and his weakness for food, and lots of it.

I think we are being a bit harsh on BIG Kev, at the end of the day he signed for us as back up and 9 out of 10 times he would only have played a handful of games this season, to which he was a good choice.
He is at the end of his career and can not perform week in week out, which is why CL wants a 'first choice' keeper. Big Kev has made some great saves this season, but as all goal keepers you only really remember the mistakes.
I would still back him as a replacement but past it as a first choice.

Kevin has done ok for us but the truth is he is costing us nearly a goal a game. if we have any aspirations of promotion then we need a new goalie and quick before any more points are squandered.

This analysis is one hundred per cent correct.
