That's crazy... given our results in December, and how poor our away form has been anyway, it's amazing we can still be top of that table.

Just shows how much Sousa ****ed us.

Although we have played more games than most of the other teams of course

That is just fascinating and I hope Sven sees it and sticks a copy on the dressing room wall to inspire our players into the play-off places.
 
Paulo Sousa was a very unfortunate blip that will see us in the play offs rather than the Automatic spots where we should be. the first 9 games where the likes of n'Guessan, howard and nielsen came back into the team as starters, Moreno was picked for no good reason, and andy king/wellens weren't guaranteed starters threw every scrap of learning from the previous season out of the window - purely because the new man had to be seen to be making his mark.
Sven has had more money, granted, but he's shown he's a class apart from Sousa both in judging a player and also judging a game.
COME ON THE FOXES!
 
Interview with Sven in the Sunday Times tomorrow. Also an article in today's Times about Mancini and Sven, with Mancini saying how much he enjoyed his time at City.

Isn't it great being in the spotlight again, in a fairly positive way, thanks to Sven!
 
Can't find any thread still open to post this but I remember our club being castigated in the press and by the League managers' chairman for sacking Paolo Sousa.

It is interesting to see whether the same criticism will be made of Liverpool FC regarding the sacking of Hodgson.

Even though they are no longer a big club, somehow I doubt it.
