Anyway posters on this board hated him when he was here and were saying "can we get this person on loan?". Much like they are now with Hendo - who imo is a fine goalkeeper for this level and this wage budget, I mean he's not the best but he is improving and he isn't anywhere near as bad as he's made out on here!

Personally, I don't have a problem with that, his last season was riddled with injuries, and I got the impression he didn't want to play for fear of aggravating them as he wanted to be fit for the next season when he knew he would be elsewhere. Anyone remember the FA Cup game where Stuart Taylor couldn't play and Walker had to be dragged kicking and screaming ( metaphorically of course ) on to the pitch to play. Best rid of.
