I would welcome his return

Walker is a fantastic keeper, shouldn't have got rid of him in the first place...

Erm, we didn't get rid of him, he ran his contract down and went to Bolton. There's no way we could have met the wages Bolton pay him, plus no doubt he got a nice signing on fee as he was a free agent.

he said at the time he would take a pay cut and wanted to stay so it would have made sense to offer him a new deal.. instead Levein opted to bring in Rab Douglas. Obviously we don't know what Walker was on and what kind of pay cut was acceptable to him at the end of the day but either way I was sorry to see him go.

Even with him saying that, IMO his demands would still have been way out of our league. Plus it's more than likely he would have wanted a signing on fee.

Didn't his leaving have something to do with Levein wanting his players living in Leicestershire, but Suzy wouldn't move? And for some unknown reason Allardyce isn't bothered where his players live?

Ian Walker lived at the back of the Gynsalls between Anstey and Glenfield. He was a reular in the Railway in Glenfield, and shagged most things that moved. I think that was what pissed his wife off.......:icon_bigg :icon_bigg :icon_bigg

Do you remember his injury during the final season with us, it was never sorted out

used to see him down there with a bandana on his head (the railway)

and its gynsills :018:

To be fair to Henderson (Im not a fan) he is improving and showing more confidence. Walker hasnt played competitive football for some time now. I'd rather stick with Hendo at the minute

I have just seen the highlights and notice he got beaten at his near post again. :icon_roll

Well Ian Dowie.... Sorry Conrad Logan should get a run out tonight so lets see how he does.

Not convinced myself.
