Walker is a fantastic keeper, shouldn't have got rid of him in the first place...
I don't think Walker was the problem, I think it was the £(xx),000 per weekWalker is a fantastic keeper, shouldn't have got rid of him in the first place...

Erm, we didn't get rid of him, he ran his contract down and went to Bolton. There's no way we could have met the wages Bolton pay him, plus no doubt he got a nice signing on fee as he was a free agent.
he said at the time he would take a pay cut and wanted to stay so it would have made sense to offer him a new deal.. instead Levein opted to bring in Rab Douglas. Obviously we don't know what Walker was on and what kind of pay cut was acceptable to him at the end of the day but either way I was sorry to see him go.
Walker was an arrogant tosser, great goalie but he could help think he was the bees knees. His wage packet said the same.
personally I reckon he was the bees knees..
Didn't his leaving have something to do with Levein wanting his players living in Leicestershire, but Suzy wouldn't move? And for some unknown reason Allardyce isn't bothered where his players live?
you could never keep still could you BG ?Ian Walker lived at the back of the Gynsalls between Anstey and Glenfield. He was a reular in the Railway in Glenfield, and shagged most things that moved. I think that was what pissed his wife off.......:icon_bigg :icon_bigg :icon_bigg

Fecking crap eaterie! Avoid at all costs, chef fecked up a rare stake when I went.
To be fair to Henderson (Im not a fan) he is improving and showing more confidence. Walker hasnt played competitive football for some time now. I'd rather stick with Hendo at the minute
