I have to say the more I think about bringing Kevin Keegan back to the fore in management the more I like the idea. If we were to get a new manager in (and I hope we do) he is about the only one currently available who I would be quite happy to see in charge. If there's one thing you can guarantee it's that he'll have passion for the game and is a no-nonsense manager. It's just - if he did return to managment, would he settle for anything outside the top division, especially a team like us flirting with relegation?

I voted yes, as I would be happy if the Pope became manager, anyone but the spunk bubble we have in charge now

seconded. a nazi pope is preferable, shows how bad it is. don't know why but your avatar always looks like penguins when i'm looking slightly away from it, eye test next week i think....

Dowie would imo be infinitely better than RK. At least you could be sure that they'd had a right bollocking when they turned in another dismal performance. Or perhaps this is the 7th worst squad of players in the division and nobody could get them to perform.

I would be happy with Dowie, decent record with Oldham followed by promotion and a play off place with Palace in his 2 seasons at this level, as for his spell at Charlton, how the feck can people slag his record off and yet be the same people who criticise the fans and constantly remind them how we nearly drove out our greatest manager after only 10 games in MON, Dowie cannot be judged on his spell at the Valley.

Other potential managers I would like to see are :

Kenny Jackett (Swansea)
Steve Cotterill (Burnley)
Colin Calderwood (F*^est)
And a dream appointment would Kevin Keegan

Dowie swings into Leicester to save the day?

I can see it now - 'Hey you Guys!!! Dowie Like Stearman!!!'

How about Bryan Robson :102:

When he went for his last appraisal interview his chairman said "Bryan, I'm afraid I've given you mostly Cs and Ds, but the good news is I've given you one A"

"What for?"

"Consistency"

Its reported that he will be offered the job in todays Mirror

Can't see why would they want to employ him ?

Well if he's prefers to work for a crappy newspaper than LCFC then he can feck off as far as I am concerned

I knew someone would do that...

Hate to do this but my mates just text me swearing City have signed Dowie. I'm trying to get his source.
