Currently working at the club for nowt and was a Nord Iron international with Dowie, so there is a link, never know maybe even Lennon could be persuaded to return, just a thought.
 
Hes already turned down an approach from Cov I understand. Unless he's now getting cold feet with all the delays
 
He's available, so he's going to be linked with vacant jobs. He'l be appointed here, i'm sure of it.

Latest I heard was that RK would be staying on.....But in a coaching role, at least being offered that position.

Could be his agent planting a story to try and hurry along his appointment at the Walkers or it could be a Cov source intent on causing a little mischief

My take on NOTW article today....

Our friend Mr Mandaric up to his tricks again. Applying more fan pressure regarding missing out on manager.

Coventry released statement on Friday saying they would not be starting interview process for a fortnight.

Dowie is just around the corner.

:081: would you want to be at the same place of work if you are being told you have been demoted or get some compensation for being sacked.. i wouldnt stay at somewere i wasnt wanted.
 
i think RK staying on would be a conflict of interests. it would be hard for the players to start listening to a new bloke with your old boss whos a lovely guy still there.

I cannot see Kelly staying on, how can he revert back to a coaching role where you work on a day to day basis with the players, especially as a coach is viewed as one of the lads, you cannot do that when you have been manager. Remember it is well known Kelly has had altercations and fallings out with a few of the current squad, makes the opportunity of reverting back to coach untenable IMO.
