No it isn't. MM will obviously want to restrict the amount of money he makes. The best way to do this is by denying people the opportuntiy to buy tickets. No brainer really H

I meant the first part,so if I want to make more money I close half of my shop down?

You would if you werent selling anything from that part of the shop but were paying to run it, especially if you had space in another part of your shop for the stock to be displayed.

Its called cutting overheads.

Read the second sentance of my post (the one preceeding with "MM"). I thought the sarcasm may have shone through, obviously not. I agree entirely with you H, it's ludicrous

We will have to disagree,I've only started from scratch and been trading for 3 years so what do I know:102:

Do you not agree then? If your shop was twice (at least) the size you needed it to be and you found yourself on hard times and could lose the overheads of half of it but still house all your stock, you wouldnt do it?

With respect I've ran mutli million pound turnover shops and seen what happens when they fall on hard times. They send round a consultant who immediatley advises to reduce floor space. Why? because it reduces overheads.

The point I was trying to make is that I very much doubt that MM will have discussed it yet.Did they fall on hard times because you ran them?:icon_lol:

More than likely :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

We have all seen them close stands down for cup games/friendlies. I wouldnt be at all suprised to see it happen.

Either that or they advise to employ somebody to run the shop who knows what they are doing :icon_wink

I'd say the closing of two stands is rubbish.

Firstly, the away corner suits the coppers and the club. They will stay there.

If we were in the top 6 of League 1, I'd say we would still get 17k which is more than half the stadium. Add the various freebies they give out in and around the family stand.

if we were right up there we would have 20000 attendances.

:icon_lol: :icon_lol:

To be fair it was the whole company, over 70 shops that were struggling :icon_wink

And that fecking sale at Rocnrola has been going on a while. Two words Durham..Car and Boot

Bit harsh considering he scored from one his free kicks :icon_lol:
ok apart from that one :icon_wink

And I am sure they would be opened for games like this.

im sure they would too

I assume they will open them if necessary but not as a matter of course ie no season tickets in those stands etc.

thats my thinking on it too

the info i got ive past on to you all i got the info 5 mins before i saw Boc outside the ground at half time from the head stweard of the club you can ask him your self if you see him ,he said it was no secret :102:

please dont shoot the messanger :icon_bigg :icon_wink

i was talking to someone at the club last night and if we do go down the club are planning to close the east stand and the family stand leaving the kop and west stand open .

This was done at a meeting last night before the game ,so the club are gearing up just in case we do go down too :(

also some reason why the players have not been playing well the past few games is the fact MM has told them all he is cleaning house in the summer and not one player is safe right now ,IMO he should not have done this ,i can see what he was trying to do but i think it back fired on him .

Well I hope that if that IS the case then those of us who are affected are told as soon as possible.....not happy about it though.....not at all.
