would i be right in saying that closing the east stand and family enclosure would halve the capacity so at best we would get 16,000 (give or take) surely we should be looking to get more than this most weeks, if forest can nearly fill their ground why cant we?

you would be right ,Dave (head stweard) told me last night that the trees had 130 stweards ,after they went down they only kept 66 of them the rest where laid of due to the number of fans droping off

dont forget the tress have been in the top half of div 1 most of the season so alot fans started to go again

I meant the first part,so if I want to make more money I close half of my shop down?

The plan is to only sell season tickets in the West and South stands. In that way the other stands won;t need to be opened if the estimated attendance doesn't warrant it. It will save loads in match costs.

IF we went down would it not make more sense to cut prices to encourage people to come and help fill the ground, hopefully we would be around the top of the table which would then encourage more people to come and then when we went up these people would come the next season when we were back in the Championship.
However I refuse to believe that MM has thought about next season yet and is focused on this season.

what about those who have st's in the north and east stands now are you saying they wont be able to renew and keep their seats next season they will have to move to either the south or west stand???

Not that's a more realistic option. Would the away fans still be housed in the corner?

The 34 away fans will continue to be housed in and around Block M.

That's right.

I don't know why everybody is so surprised? What would be the point of opening (and paying the expenses for it) all of a 32,000 stadium when the crowd is likely to be some where less than half of that?

If 20,000 want season tickets despite a relegation, I am sure they will be happy to reconsider.

i spoke to a turnstle operator who my dad knows and he said they had a meeting before the birmingham game he said that they would be closing the alliance and leicester stand if we go down. didnt say anything about the family stamd though.

why not do what h said and reduce prices to try and entice fans to renew/go :102:

Well, considering that ST details are to be announced at the end of this month, I think it's highly likely that he WILL be thinking about what's gonna happen next year.

I suspect that there will be no sales available until after May 6th at which point he will close the relevant stands if we fail to maintain our Championship status (I can't bring myself to use the R word).

It's also possible that any ST announcments will be postponed until after May 6th.

I would think he is far more concerned about the next three games

it lcfc you know :icon_roll :icon_roll :icon_roll

but surely it would be better to try and aim for crowds of 20k instead of making do with 15k itll be like a friggin morgue there if we go down and if this is true
