Is there an easy way to do this?

I have an Excel spreadsheet with multiple rows of four columns. I can save as HTML but MS puts loads of superfluous stuff in as well resulting in bloated HTML.

Is there a simple way to convert my spreadsheet into a basic HTML table structure?

Thanks guys and gals.

If I was doing it I'd put the html code in the spreadsheet, then save it as a text file.

But there are hundreds of entries! Would I have to put the <tr>, <td> </td> and </tr> tags around every row? If so, how :102:

Just add extra columns for the html and paste it in, if the data is a consistent format it should be fairly easy to do.

I love you and I want your babies.

Thanks Jeff, that's saved me hours :icon_bigg

You could then hide these additional columns so they don't confuse the viewing of the database.
