of course they are......
and all the eastern europeans I have employed have all been racist
Of Course they are....Lazio for one example, Inter Milan at a recent Champions League game.
Why should a minority of EE mean a majority of EE's get labelled racisted. They have long history of being strictly white countries and like England just 30-20 years ago, racism is still evident in every day life, Alf Garnett for starters on national tv was the most racist fecker going.
These EE countries are currently 20 years behind the UK and will possibly continue their development beyond more established nations. The Wisla fans must be applauded, if there was any minority racist/neo-nazi fans there they were not heard.
Secondly I am not defending this guy but where is the proof. Its one mans word against another. McCarthy says he was been racist when he meant of been tell him to feck off. So considering there is a language barrier for starters, its particular hard to punish someone for one words against another.
Just to add, was it not a German player Aaron Hunt of English descent who was recently reported to UEFA for racist language aimed at Anton Ferdinand and Micah Richards. So the probelm is not just restricted to Eastern European.
Its a particular stereotype to hold that EE are racist, I admit past history shows there is but in this case, if the remarks were true, they are from an extreme minority (a player) and generally the EE countries are doing stuff to stamp it. Just because of this, it doesnt warrant a view that labels them all racists?
