Could Taylor get the call, with Trott likely to miss the 3rd test?

If I was a selector at the moment, I think Bopara (and possibly a few others) might be more prominent in my mind than Taylor.

I do expect Taylor to play Test Cricket for England one day though.

Great knock by Dhoni with a few slogs from Kumar. They have breathed life into the game for India, now 205-8.

Whilst the India bowling is weakened through injury, the way our bowlers have mastered their batting line-up has been superb. You have to feel for Tremlett, man of the series against SL and now his replacement in the form of his life.

This present England team is the best I've seen as a unit.
Individually, I've seen better batsmen, bowlers or wicket keepers but as a unit, this team is a pleasure to watch. Brilliant.

Yep. I believe Edrich and Hammond are up there with some big not outs as well - so could potentially have gone on to more.

Gooch is the only man to get 250+ in a test for England in the last 21 years! (I'm sure he did it in 90, but may have been 91?)

Superb from England. Say what you like about India, but they ARE a good side and their demolition in this test series has been astonishing, England have just so rarely taken their foot off the pedal.

I would like to see a Tendulkar 100 though....

At his current rate it will take Cook a month to get to 333.

Can't help thinking England have missed a trick here. Should have come out all guns blazing for a couple of hours and get India in while the conditions are conducive to swing bowling and whilst the Indians are tired and demoralised.
