A few observations:

1. We are terribly average.
2. Picking Jordan Henderson as a captain is like choosing Giant Haystacks to re-tile your roof.
3. Glenn Hoddle is a twat.

Here's another - Harry Kane is also a twat. A gormless, useless twat. He's contributed nothing of any consequence to this game. I've never understood the media's obsession with him.

Meanwhile, our boys are getting one hell of a beating in Stuttgart.

Why as an Englishman do I hope that Slovakia score a goal? Bizarre.

I've kind of gone this way over the last few years.

I find it funny when we **** up against supposed lesser teams.

I ****ing hate international football

Not sure about Southgates tactics and persisting with the same players
The forward players seemed to shoot as soon as they got within range of goal, when a pass to a free player, in possibly a better position, was definitely on. Just about every forward player was guilty of it, even the subs.
Just a group of individuals trying to show they were wanting to score but no idea as a group how to do it.
Diers goal reminded me of the sort of goal Vardy would score and by the law of averages if we shoot enough I suppose we will score but at least Rashford was on the run and there wasn't a player better suited.

I don't hate it but it never fails to disappoint - last time I can remember a really decent game in world cup was the 3-0 over Denmark ( 2002?)
