Might as well give young players a chance rather than play older more experienced players that continuously disappoint or will just go through the motions not wanting to get injured.

England are not blessed with world class talent, but could be in the future if we give the youth a chance.

I agree with this, but there has to be limits surely...

Some of these players have played such a minimal amount of football that it's a joke for them to be in the England team.

Give them time in the Under 21s so they can develop there.

Our media puts far too much pressure, hype and expectation around the England team - young players need time to develop without being under the microscope quite so much.

I noticed Sancho has completed 125 minutes of football off the bench this season.

Fully deserved

5 assists and 1 goal in 125 mins of football is a pretty decent return though!

The worlds best players all start young, and they shine under the microscope. Besides I think the pressure is higher in the premier League. If the coaches around them know how to support and develop them then they can thrive, and Puel and Southgate both have good reputations in that regard.

Also, scrap caps for these wank friendlies

I might go to the Scotland v England under 21 game on Tuesday 16th.

I went to the FA's website to find out where and when the match is. It says TBC. Not very helpful.

So I went to the Sky Sports website, and that says it's a 6PM kick-off at St Mirren Park. No ticket information though, and I couldn't find anything on St Mirren's website.

Then I went to the Scottish FA's website, and it says it's at Tynecastle, with a 5:30PM kick-off.

Shambles.

It's at Tynecastle. Fiver on the gate (I believe Bank of England notes are still acceptable) or tickets from:

Chilwell thoroughly deserves his call up, particularly when you consider others in the squad.

If Gray was fit and Vardy hadn't withdrew himself, there's a good chance we'd have 5 players in the England squad right now....
