I thought all of the build up to the match was poorly handled. How did people in the Kop feel about having that big flag dragged across them just as the players came out at the start of the match? I was in the East stand and it looked to me as if they were trying to drag it out of the way.

Birch can go, I really dislike him now.

I've thought for a couple of seasons now that Birch is getting to be an embarrasment. I'd like to see him go, but with dignity and not booted out because in the past he's been great for the club.

I was glad it stayed down the front. If it had come up the back, I am sure that it would have had damage done to it. It's fine for it to come over 5 or so minutes earlier to build the atmosphere but to bring it across that late in the proceedings was simply thoughtless and unwelcome.

There was clearly an extra 8,000 people in the crowd. Did Birch not think it wise to explain the idea. He didn't explain it last week and it went wrong, the least you'd do is explain it this time. Is anybody directing this silly man or is he left to his own accord?

I posted something a while ago about this. "Brad" the tannoy announcer does a much better job "And nowww, the Leicester City side..........." always got me buzzing prior to KO.

Birch is a joke figure now and I think he has ran past his sell by date.

Agreed, sadly, 'cos I think he's ben great but it has come to the end. Put him out to pasture in gracious retirement.

However this may well not have been his idea. My boss is always having 'great' ideas but expects somebody else to put them in to practice and this idea is a real lemon.

Even if it isn't his idea, I think we should get rid anyway. He embarrases us before every match when he dances around the pitch like a fairy. Who cares if he doesn't think of the idea anyway, he is in complete control of the microphone, he can decide what he does and doesn't say.
