iPhone, Blackberry or other?

I have the cheapest phone available on the cheapest plan I could get. It's a phone, alarm clock and calendar. Perfect! All the rest is just fluff IMO - that's what computers are for

They are reduced capability due to the phones inferior hardware that's all.

The lack of memory means some functions cannot be added to the 3G, Apple are supporting security updates for the 3G (such as the pdf problem), that's why the 3G got an update recently, they don't write 3G specific updates now which is why there have been so many problems with 3G updates since iOS4 came out.

I'm getting my iphones mixed up original one is not supported, 3G support will end soon, support length is much better than most phone manufacturers who try to drop support almost as soon as the handset is released.
