Battery I think. Charge it up for hours and it just kept losing all of its charge after listening to about 20 minutes.

yeah sounds like the battery. plenty of replacements available, ebay is the cheapest place, can get a battery and tools to do the job yourself for less than a 10er. pretty easy to do as well and there are loads of help vids on youtube.

is there any way to transfer music you have previously synced from one computer to ipod from ipod to another computer (because some bacon moved out and took your original computer)
i have synced it but obviously the files wont play on pc as the music file is not there? does that make sense? :icon_lol:

I don't think there is, last time I tried to do that I ended up wiping everything off my ipod, luckilly I had a backup so was able to recover it all.

I think he can authorise 5 PC's to have the content with his itunes account. He will still need to shift them over somehow though.

if you want stuff off the ipod onto a different PC:-

open the file in wondows explorer

they're hidden and the filenames are bollocks, but it will work
