Looking at some of the teams posted, people still want to go 4 -3 -3.
We haven't got full backs that can cope without a covering midfielder in front of them.

But we haven't got 4 midfielders.5-3-2 with Wing Backs is what best suits the personnel we have IMO

If Chambers is fit, I'd play him in front of Stearman.
Hayes in front of Sheehan,
Drop Kisnorbo to bench, put N'Gotty in with MaCauley(sp)
With Fulop behind them no probs.
King in with Clem
Fryatt and Hume up front.

If Barnsley can get a draw there, I'm sure we can!

Jesus, we can win it, for sure.

Doubt we will mind.

Why is everyone suggesting that we drop out most experienced midfielder?! He may not be in the best of form but for me he's still got to be in there. If no other reason then because we have no one else!

EDIT: Sorry - not sure where i got 'everyone' from after re-reading!

I'd have N'Gotty at right back, Hume right wing, King and Clem in midfield with Sheehan and Mattock on the left.
Cort and Fryatt up front.

Not great...but its all we've got.

I would be amazed if Ollie dropped Clem.

So would I. My post wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Although it seems it was. I had intended to introduce controversy in an effort to liven up the debate. :icon_roll

Kaebi should start.

Given Holloway's promise to give everyone a chance then maybe that might happen. Hellings in for Clem then? :icon_conf

Mattock

Hume
King
Clemence
Hayes

Fryatt

SUBS: Henderson, N'Gotty, Sheehan, Newton, John

I can imagine it being this team!

why should be be left on the field just because of experience? there are plenty other players who have been better than him this season that people want to see out of the team every week, don't really see why this half arsed **** gets away with it

I do not have a problem with Clemence playing, but why against the Baggies was he playing behind the midfield and still playing it sideways not forward?

Fulop eventually found the answer to our crap midfield and spectacularly bypassed them! By far our best box to box player!

So who would you put in instead?

with the squad that we have i don't think it matters greatly who we actually play, they are much of a muchness and all pretty much shite. i would put any of the feckers in place of clemence if not just to let him know his place isn't a certainty. let him have a few weeks to practice passing forwards, something he has not done so far

Like it or not he's got to be in the team. If no other reason than we have on one else!

Plus, i think he's been asked to do a job that he's not actually up to. I.e be creative. But again this is a failure of our squad rather than Clemence himself. Who i still believe will become a good player for us once he's got some support.

which is the reason we are struggling at the wrong end of the table, also the reason why i can see us going down this season. january of course may turn out to be a big shock and our new manager might buy decent players

Yeah exactly. It all points to the mistakes made over the summer. I was against Allen because sacked, but when you look at the team he's put together you can see MM reasons.

He's hoping Holloway can sort it. We need 2 midfielders and 2 wingers.
