... for another bid to usurp that of MM?

There are people who hope not!

It's never too late. The due dilligence has been done - look at how the Americans came from nowhere to buy Liverpool. Although IMO the only other option is an inside job with one or two of the existing shareholders matching the MM cash and digging deep into their own pockets. (which they have singularly failed to do so far in keeping with the "spirit" of a widely owned "community" club).

Of course if MM is turned away and in the summer the club go into administration (though according to the FT that is unlikely) one of the existing shareholders could clome in and buy the club from the administrators - but then so could MM. This time though I think the administrator might strip some assets away - training ground for one.

So all to play for ... and I think there will be more twists before the club has a new owner - be that MM or a "mystery" insider. I say "mystery" because I have absolutely no "F'ing" idea - just making a guess like everyone else. As none of us know any facts. We don't even know the current financial situation at the club or the structure of the MM deal. So we are all stabbing in the dark.

Someone on Rivals is claiming that the debt is around 7 million. I'm still none the wiser after reading that thread though Durham. Can you PM me?

Oh brother. Divulge...

Put this way... There are a small group of people who know very well the details of MM's offer and what he has said about his intended modus operandi. Some of them have shown by their actions that they are not keen on his bid. I think we have probably not heard the last of them.

Let's face it, MM's intention in the main is to borrow money to finance development - I presume that anybody can do that. So all that anybody might have to do is to make their bid a little bit better than that of MM.

And there are some people who woulld probably not need to do 'due diligence'.

wankers the lot of em Boc, and if this is the case they can feck off because they could have done all this earlier, they have had enough time to do it. MM has had the bollux to start this rolling, these other toerags can see their pampering going down the shitter and so now try and make a difference, well in my mind thats too little too late they can all go and feck each other like they have done to the fans already

Why didn't they come in sooner? If they are the ones you are alluding to? Too little, too late in my opinion. Should have come in during the summer when we needed the push. If the alleged £7m 'hole' is down to this lot, do we want them in charge anyway???

Maybe they didn't do anything earlier because they initially believed MM would be the best option for the club, but now they think they could do a better job.

not in a fecking million years.

If a takeover comes along and it is from existing shareholders I will chuck my season ticket away and never go again. The cnuts could have done this a long while back and we would not have had to suffer this utter shite football that is offered up every week........ wankers the lot of em

If they have more to offer, they can always buy MM out at a later date:102:
