To be honest I am very glad that some of the shareholders have decided to make a rival bid (or are at least thinking about it). handing the club over to MM is very risky IMO.
I don't personally buy into this 'look at what he's done at Pompy etc' nonsense, I feel (as I know others on here do too) that MM was exceptionally lucky to stumble upon one of the best managers currently on these great isles. Without Rednapp I doubt any of us would care who MM was/is.
And whilst I feel that it is now time for a change at board level, I really would prefer it if it was someone who actually had a love of the club who was running it. And someone with an equally big account (speaking of which isn't Milan worth less than 50million?) came along I would hardly be grumbling.
I would be all for MM if it wasn't for these 'loans' which I am highly suspicious of. It means that there is no risk for MM should we fail to get promotion in the next 5 years or so. And right now I would quite happily wait another 3 months and see Andrew Taylor, Martin George and JJ take over (with some money assurances) than MM. I trust the fact they resigned more than I can trust the Mockery, the FT or anyone on here. Its pretty clear there is something wrong with what MM is proposing and if those 3 aren't happy about it then in truth I don't think I am.
