So if we have a rival bid or two come in this week can we look forward to a takeover, or "management" buyout before the end of the season or will it lead to endless bids and counter bids?

And 6) "Please, please Mr Manderic, you do understand don't you, that when we were trying to spoil things a few weeks ago that it was because we weren't feeling very well at the time."

why would they say that to a possible rival consortium? :102:
Or did you not bother reading the thread & just leapt at a possible opportunity for a bit of FT bashing?

We will have another bout of emotional turmoil. Punctuated by information from various insiders in the various consotia, all of which will prove wide of the mark.

It is just around the corner.....

so PB why do you trust the FT? I and others on here really would like to know

At first I was unsure about their approach but as events have unfolded the FT seem to be the only people emerging from this saga with any credit. To the best of my knowledge they have attempted to convey developments in plain language as objectively as possible (true objectivity being impossible). No dramatic nonsense as displayed in the Mercury. Incidentally, it is still making me laugh that people who hitherto had nothing but contempt for Blanderson and the Mercury will suddenly believe anything they read there as long as it fits their preconceived ideas/beliefs.

Mandaric may turn out to be a very good thing for Leicester, but the idea that everyone should just go along with a dreamy, indistinct vision of a land of happy chocolate and anyone who says "where's the money coming from then?" is SPOILING THINGS because AS LONG AS YOU BELIEVE IT IT WILL COME TRUE is self-evidently absurd. Are the Foxes' Trust and sceptical posters really those nasty people who kill fairies by not believing in them? I don't think so.

Would agree completely with anyone who says that we desperately need a shot in the arm. But we almost went bust through financial mismanagement. The club and those who love it owe it to themselves, supporters, employees, trading partners and creditors not to make the same mistake twice.

erm Jeff isn't that the whole point of this board - to put our opinions and rants across about the club?

how about you get off your backside and make me a cup of tea?

The big white coca-cola drinking bear is on the ball. Believe.

I leapt at the opportunity for a bit of FT bashing.

Not a banned country sport is it

I'm not an FT member incidentally, so don't accuse me of institutional bias!

We would just like to assure fans that we have a series of challenging questions prepared for any party who may hold a meeting this week outlining their vision for the future of the club.

Funky...the madness goes on then I gather FT?

What will your questions include out of interest? It would seem the Drummin/Silver consortium are not out of this yet.
