I think these exemptions do exist (although judging by the amount of birdshit on my car today I sometimes wonder!!)

However, I don't think these apply to dumb animals that have been kept in captivity

just get rid of that useless twat, rabbit in headlight goal keeper Logan. As much use as a rare steak to MK.

All the ones that still have contracts because MM is not going to waste his money buying them out and no-one in their right mind is going to come in for them.

Common sense there. As you say, the vast majority have contracts and MM is not going to buy them out so we are stuck with a load of old rubbish - the worst squad in the history of LCFC.

Everything is wrong with them: low ability; low motivation and used to failure.

I think any incoming manager has got mega problems.

This is where you get to from a succession of crap managers. True, we have been short of funds but other clubs have done much better with less money.

The only bright spot is that MM has a history of impatience even though is judgement is somewht patchy - if we still had the previous board then I think the situation would be one of total desparation.

well we can't afford to get rid of so many players and invest in a whole new team untill we get the right sort of manager coming in, and then we can look at the long term i wouldn't get rid of some much players because for next season we need a big enough squad espically if there are injuries and suspensions, i can see the following players leaving the club

Hughes
rab dougie
jarret (loan)
newton (loan)
horse (loan)
nils
hammond
maybury

i think spanky has got it about right-though we have to wait and see who the new manager is and what his assessment of the situation is-i wouldn't mind seeing newton down here next season.

new manager will mean new players but how many is the questions and we will need to have a good cover for ever position on the pitch if we are to fight for promotion and play-offs we need to have a big squad. players that can rotate and change. i think the new manager who ever it maybe knows what is needed before being offered the job and i want either chris coleman or mike newell as manager

Didn't Gretna go on record saying they'd want Rab Douglas if they went up? But presumably not pay him as much, leaving us to cut our losses, as usual.

the main objective at the moment is to sort out a manager before any players start leaving the club

Trust me - the manager is already sorted. Players leaving the club will be much harder to sort.

I would expect them to pay him about a fifth of what he is contracted to earn at Leicester, so we are likely to have to make up the other four-fifths. This seems better than the five-fifths that we have had to pay him this season when he hasn't spent a single minute on the pitch.
