Apparently, my Lloyds TSB and Halifax accounts have been hacked. I didn't even know I had them, to be fair.
So that's where you are hiding all my money

They use a specially formulated cleaning agent called 'Scammo', which has a drying time approximately the same as the amount of time it takes to change your name, get a fake passport, sell your house and flee Nigeria forever without looking back.I hate having, dirty creased up money, so I hired a nigerian company that very kindly offered to clean my monies for me. They've had it for 2 week's now, are they just really thorough or should i be worried?
Ah, good to know they are using specialist techniques, i can't wait to see my clean, crisp notes. They use a specially formulated cleaning agent called 'Scammo', which has a drying time approximately the same as the amount of time it takes to change your name, get a fake passport, sell your house and flee Nigeria forever without looking back.
I have literally just had a call from similar - realising quickly this could potentially be a scam I asked where they were calling from and they said London - LIE No1 as it was out of country call displayed on phone. After much insistance that he was in London I asked for an address which he gave and I checked quickly I chose another area of londo and said oh your in Camden he said yes - Address he gave was actually a Gay Bar in Southwark!!! I then asked for a telephone number he said you can find it. I said so you know I have prob with computer your clever what computer do i have he replied Apple! I dont have an apple!! We went round in circles fr a few mins lke this and he offered me to speak to his manager who i told they were liers and pointed out the points they lied on. The manager then told me to shut my mouth and F off!!
Just had some guy with an Asian accent phoning about my computer and that they had a report that my computer wasn’t working properly it was slow and not loading properly. So I said it’s working fine as far as I can see and he then said they were doing a free check and could I go to the search box, which I knew where it was but I played dumb so he guided me where to find it, and then he told me what to type. So after I typed what he asked, which was eventvwr , I suddenly announced the internet broadband had gone down (even though it hadn’t) and I would have to put it right. I then spent a few minutes scrambling around sorting the broadband out and I could hear him asking something and I kept cursing as though I couldn’t get back online then eventually the phone went dead.
I did a 1471 and this is the number that was left behind 000000000 so that was really useful!!
I’ve had a few of these phone calls of late - one recently I challenged them by saying I had heard there was a scam going on where they get hold of your computer details and then money is taken from your account, at which point the phone went dead. I think the number left behind that time was 000000000 as well. Anyone heard of people actually falling for this and if so what happened to their computer and did they lose money because of this.
