Today is probably the most unproductive working day for men around the country, and really should be a Bank Holiday.

It looks like it is going to be a really, really busy deadline too.

I bloody love it!

Any tips for biggest transfer of the day?

I think Modric to Chelsea will be the big money move of the day, with a really late deal in true Spurs fashion.

Man City getting Hargreaves will stop them doing too much else I think. Was expecting De Rossi but can't see that happening if they're getting Hargreaves.

I Suspect Hargreaves will go out on loan to prove himself, so they will likely still have a vacancy for a first team regular.

Apparently, they tried to talk to Van Bommel last week !!

Arsenal are linked to a number of players and will be interesting to see who they end up with.

Joey, Huuuuuume and De Vries in the press room at 2pm with the candlestick, the lead pipe and new contracts.

You know it's happening because Bert doesn't know about it.

Transfer merry-go-round alert: Hull City are expected to sign Leicester City striker Martyn Waghorn on loan until January but only if Jermaine Beckford moves to the Foxes from Everton. If that happens, Hull striker Jay Simpson will go to Championship side Millwall on loan until January

Arteta to Arsenal seems to be coming more serious. Apparantly initially bid £4million, have they completely lost the plot?
