So is it now time?

Even forgetting what has gone on in the previous few seasons, this season has been a complete **** up from day one.

The manager leaves, and we decide to go a completely different direction. Some agreed with it, some didn’t. Obviously every one knows I was happy with the change of direction because I thought we’d end up doing a Southampton. Whether or not people agreed with it, the decision was made and then we had to back him.

But no, he gets booted after 12 matches, despite being ahead of the two other promoted teams, even though they both had a higher net spend and didn’t have the same managerial disruption in the summer.

Fine, decision made, let’s bring in a decent experienced manager. But no, we bring in someone who is inexperienced and achieved nothing so far in his managerial career. And yet again, a completely different style to the previous manager.

I was confident we’d stay up last month. Now I’m convinced we’re doomed.

Let’s talk about recruitment. This summers recruitment was bad. Ultimately we don’t know how much say Cooper had this summer, but if we did gave a brand new manager complete free rein to bring in who he wanted, that’s dumb and on Top and Rudkin’s head. I suspect it was a combination of all of them. But ultimately it’s years and years of incompetent recruitment that is the reason why our squad is so shit right now.

We need to seriously protest to get Rudkin out, and if that doesn’t work, it needs to be directed to Top.
I said to my dad that I thought the last 10/15 minutes today might be toxic towards Rudkin, but I hadn’t factored in the fact that the ground would be practically empty of home fans at that point. I’m not convinced the sight of the stadium being that empty will send as much of a message as vitriol would have done, but, in a way, it was a visual representation of protest at what had just happened. No doubt it will be ignored by the powers that be, but they should look at it and take notice.

On a macro level, Not sure that people/the general populace has any fight left in them generally, to be honest. The fix is so in across the board that people have largely given up.

That said, if there’s any fight left in Leicester fans…the time is here.

Bang. Head. Wall.

It will take a nuclear strike to move the powers at Leicester City FC. Whatever happens on the pitch, in the league, what is said by the fans, Foxes Trust, Bentleys Roof, UFS, NOTHING will change.

Horrible.

Whoever owns a football club these days is just going to be some clueless rich ****. The problem is the people they employ & no rich **** is ever going to sack their favourite arse licking yes man.

Best thing we can hope for is that if they eventually sell up, the rich **** that buys us employs an arse licking yes man who actually knows what he's doing. Unlike now when we have a twat who isn't fit to run a cob van.

I have a terrible feeling this Van Nistelrooy appointment will be exposed badly…he’s not even brought in a staff and the club haven’t bothered to hire any around him.

The lineup decisions suggest he’s not done any homework on the club whatsoever. Like properly rocked up in a nice jacket and turtleneck to collect his Legends paycheck. Knows Vardys good and that’s about it. Watch him play Ward again on Thursday.

I hope I’m wrong but he looks completely out of his depth and at a club that will do **** all to help him. It’s got a Sousa or Allen feel to it to me.

We really could be in for one of our worst seasons.

The good thing is, it won’t be the worst ever season in the premier league, because we’re past that quantity of points I believe.

Jordan Blackwell bang on the money here:

“Asked if he knew of Ward’s reputation in the stands, van Nistelrooy admitted: “No, I didn’t. What happens in recent years is something I don’t know. You (the media) can explain better and the people within the club can explain better. But still, it must be difficult for him to experience it.”

But it’s something van Nistelrooy should know. It is important for him to be aware that one of the players he picks could generate an adverse reaction from the crowd and damage the atmosphere to the extent that getting a result is less likely. That he didn’t know does not reflect well on his research of the City players, nor does it reflect well on the club, who clearly didn’t brief him.”

Also, the state of that answer from Ruud…

Again, the point is what kind of expertise does he have around him

Sounds like none - or maybe a bunch of ****ing idiots.

If there really no one is there to tell him what the fanbase think of Danny Ward, or there are people there telling him that he’s great, then he’s got no ****ing chance whatsoever

What a complete ****ing shambles

Absolutely right.

I'm not letting RvN off lightly here. It's basic stuff. Speak to people, understand your squad.

It's terrifying to see him so far. He's completely oblivious to what he's walked into.
