I have just exchanged emails with Nigel Organ (oh yes!) of First TransPennine Express Customer Relations Department.. FirstTPE are insistent that the services will restart at 06:00 on Saturday morning. Network Rail say the work is on time.

Who told you they were taking longer than expected. Six days is a lot different to a whole month!

cheers for clearing that up....if a guy told me in the pub on monday who claimed he was working on the line and said that they were incountering problems (a electrical line or something) and said it may take up to amonth.
