I thought that given time he'd be a better option to buy than Waghorn, the club then spent £2-3m on Waggy which imo was totally over the top. Not sure if he's worth buying now.

I thought Vaughn showed us that he was more than capable of making it in this division last season and I was dissapointed we didnt sign him up full time.

And hes only young so plenty of time to improve !

He constantly reminded me of DJ: ran around a lot to make it look like he was working hard, made runs that didn't make sense, habitually shot straight at the keeper's legs etc. Offered nothing really.

That's true. He's obviously got something, but someone around him has to give him an idea of exactly what that is, or the lad will have a very disappointing career.
