January Comings and goings

So with a quarter of the league gone and January fast approaching and the opening of the Transfer Window, is there anyone who you would like to see join or leave the club or do we not need anyone to come or go?

Is the option of Clemence coming back for the Xmas Period maybe enough to hold off on acquiring a new creative midfielder or would you like to see one on NP's shopping list.

Will Dickov's return be enough to put the heebie jeebies up Fryatt and Howard to inspire more goals.

Personally i'd like us to acquire a goalscoring striker along the lines of Graham from carlisle or lambert from bristol i think it is or one of the Posh pair of Mclean or Mckail-Smith or even go league 2 and get Ward, Strevens etc

I'm not too sure about the midfield but i'd like us to maybe get another midfielder who can be creative through the middle of the park. cant actually think of anyone of the top of my tall head at the mo though.

I wonder if Mattock will go in the window? Wouldn't surprise me now we've got Powell who may stay til end of the season and berner who has been signed on a long term deal.

Any thoughts?

I think there will be some comings and goings this January, not convinced Mattock & Kisnorbo will be playing many more games for LCFC after Jan - bit worried Oakley may go too.

I really don't think Lambert would come here, he'll be being watched by bigger fish.

I would like to see Howard go, I've never hid that fact, someone posted on the post match Northampton thread that he was like a lampost which to me is absolutely spot on.

I certainly agree that we need a goal scoring striker and I'm afraid Howard is no longer that man (He never was)

The fact is HF, most of the people who moan about him are just jumping on the bandwagon. As you say we are in the 3rd tier of english football and cannot / willnot attract players of good quality. IMO Fryatt is far far worse than Howard.

I'd like to see us sign a midfielder who doesn't mind getting stuck in, a ball winner. Someone like Lennon or ince used to be. I know we have no chance of attracting players as good as they were but someone similar.
