QPR game for definate

didn't we used to win this cup competition? happy days

Tonight I couldn't give a shit how we play, a win will boost our confidence, playing well and losing could damage confidence. I'd sacrifice performance for a win tonight so we can go into Saturday on the back of an 8 game undefeated run.

However, the undefeated run must end at some point, and we are now getting to the high end of the spectrum, I'd rather lose that run tonight than on Saturday. I'd rather not lose it at all but it's inevitable that we will start to get jittery the larger the number of unbeaten games we get to.

We should be resting as many players tonight as we possibly can (despite the fact that we apparently have no fit midfielders...) - that especially goes for Hume and Hammond, who have been running their bollox off over the past week and therefore need a breather
