I never thought he was a decent potential signing becaues he is way past it but......although he has lost any pace, I still thought his positional sense was excellent. Without any pace he was still finding spaces.

Also - of course he was moaning at his team mates. That's what old pros do, especially when they are playing with those who haven't got the footballing brain that they have.

Sorry, but I disagree Alex.

He still has the brain - it's his legs that have completely gone. Let's face it he's playing on well past when most of his contemporaries in that sort of role have packed in. Dion Dublin is 38 and still scoring goals but is a completely different sort of player.

Presumably JFH needs the cash - for wharever reasons. But I genuinely thought that he looked 'finished' but 'different class' all at the same time - if you see what I mean.
