non of the above players came out at the beggining of an important season and said they were looking for something BETTER publicly like he has.

Did you hear him say it then?

Or are you relying on what may be a dodgy translation from Swedish?

it's up to you jeff if you want people in the starting line up who are only concerned with playing for a better club, if you ask me his heart wont be in playing for city, which for me is the bare minimum i require so he's failed at the first hurdle.

If he wants to play for a 'better' club surely the only way he can do this is by playing well enough to interest other clubs.
I'd rather have someone who was ambitious and trying to make an impression than someone who had a long contract and was happy just taking his money every week.

Can anyone translate this?

I've already tried with an online translator...

Nils Eric Johansson do not eliminate to reboot your karriär in the Swedish Premier Division. The previous Blackburn-proffset är in på slutåret of the contract with battalion I-klubben Leicester and now can the a lot of väl become Sweden again.
- the Swedish Premier Division är interesting. The whole my family är of course djurgårdare så I have of course control, säger he. The är a pair klubbar that has hört of itself.

In Leicester has Nils Eric Johansson försökt fÃ¥ new rate pÃ¥ a karriär as körde permanent during slutÃ¥ren in premiums League-klubben Blackburn. Today hÃ¥ller he to in The Championship, the battalion during premiums League - and has had time to become 26 Ã¥r. FrÃ¥n misshushÃ¥llen middle reverse in Rovers has he now “wide area trained” itself in samrÃ¥d with managern and moved out as vänsterback.

- the känns good. I känner that I have been developed, säger he to FotbollDirekt.com. But not only of that I most has played vänsterback; förra säsongen played I 46 games, more än I någonsin played earlier.

- the has meant a lot of för me that få be general again. Now, I have gått down några kilos, dropped little muscles. I är faster än earlier. The krävs för to play winger reverse, säger he and laughs.

- in Blackburn each the för jerky på closed. I could få play five games and since being poked in equal många. The håller not in längden.

Fotbollslivet in small Leicester describes he that entire OK with närhet to storstäder as Manchester, Birmingham and London. But någon fortsättning är the questionable about the becomes.

- I do not know. We får see. I hope väl på någonting more. Helst wants to I to premiums League again, även about the been a quiet while där in från.

- the Swedish Premier Division? Yes, the exists många good player där home now för the time. Clearly one tänker på the. All är möjligt. I have of course good control. The whole my family är djurgårdare så one knows what as händer. The är little heavy now and the is speculated in about Tobias Hysén will become pro.

Has you hört något från Djurgården?
- no, the has I väl not done. The är 1-2 klubbar as än så länge shows interests. But we får see. The exists än så länge no concrete, säger he.

usually if something is translated like that in a program or something it comes out very disjointed english, this seemed pretty rock solid to me. at the end of the day if the guy was a super star then fair enough but hes shite. i dont expect a player to even be talking about his future at the beggining of the season anyway.

that he is concentrating on his role with leicester city and helping them to achieve premiership status, that he'd love to play in the premiership again but is commited to the foxes for the time being. a proffesional answer i would of thought

And how do you know he didn't say that?

We've seen before how interviews can become distorted when a few words get taken out of context.

I'd rather judge him based on what I hear him say rather than a translation of what could be the Swedish version of the NOTW.

The 'something better' comment I took as him saying he wanted better offers/clubs interested for when his contract runs out than the ones he's recieved at the moment. Not that he wanted a better club than LCFC.

Gudjonsson wasn't premier league quality, but he scored the best goal ever scored by a leicester player and had more integrity in his decision making and the timing of his statement than Johansson has.
sell him and sell maybury, and then spend the money well,
it's a win win situation.

Best goal ever by a city player? Feck off, not even in the top five. That would have missed 9 times out of ten.

Muzzy's goal against Grimsby? any one of Stans goals against Sunderland?
Claridge against Palace? alll better than GJ's against Hull

."That would have missed 9 times out of ten". - This surely makes it one of the best goals as it was such a unique shot it would only go in 1 in 10 times.

any one of Stans goals against Sunderland? - The volley, yes, the header, maybe, the scuff from 2 yards - no chance.

alll better than GJ's against Hull JG - :icon_wink

no it mays it a fluke goal. Not knocking him for trying though, if he had not have tried he would not have scored. But hand on heart it was a fluke.

Weller against Luton away in the FA cup

Clarke against WBA semi of the cup Hillsborough

Waters against QPR away FA cup (both of them)

How the hell can you fluke a goal from the half way line!!! It was a great goal.

I think you could call Muzzy's goal a fluke but it doesn't stop it being fantastic.
How many times would Izzet have scored that goal if he was presented with the same opportunity again and again?

Best City goal ever.

Is the goal available to be seen on a PC anyhow anyplace anywhere? Can it be downloaded from somewhere?

If you go on a thread called on here called City on Youtube. There is a video on there which shows loads of Citys goals, its on there.

:038: I'd forgotten about that.

Gudjonssen scored from INSIDE HIS OWN HALF with the goal keeper not a ridiculous distance of his line. Pele's attempt to do that has been played (at last count) four milion and 3 times and it didn't even go in.
Muzzy's over head kick and Claridge's shinner against Palace barely compare, despite them being good goals. Claridge's 2nd against Man UTd in the coca cola cup was pretty special. But no matter how you look at it Joey's goals is the most impressive goal by a leicester player.
And let's not even mention Worhtington's goal where he flicked it over the defenders head.
