Can anyone translate this?

I'm norwegian but I'll give it a go:

<Nils-Eric Johansson doesn’t rule out restarting his career in Allsvenskan (Sweden’s Premier League). The former Blackburn player is in his final year of his contract with the Championship club Leicester and might very well end up in Sweden again.

”Allsvenskan is a possibility. My whole family is Djurgården (one of the biggest teams in Sweden) supporters so I know what’s going on over there. There are a couple of clubs that have been in touch.

In Leicester Nils-Eric Johansson has tried to re-launch a career that got stuck in the final year of his Blackburn spell. Today he plays in The Championship, the division below Premier League and has reached the age of 26. From being played out of position (?) as a centre back, he has now developed further as a left back after consultations with the manager.

“It feels good. I think I have progressed. Not only by playing as a left back; last season I played 46 games, more than I’ve ever played in one season before.”

“It means a lot to me to be a regular starter again. I have lost some weight and I’m quicker than before. That is necessary if your playing as a back” he says and laughs.

“In Blackburn it was too much on and off. I could play five games in a row and then be dropped for as many. That is no good in the long run.”

The football life in small Leicester (journo’s words) he describes as quite ok being close to big cities like Manchester, Birmingham and London. But it is doubtful that he’ll extend his stay there.

”I don’t know. We’ll see. I guess I’m hoping for something more. I’d prefer to play in Premier League again even though it has been quiet from that front lately.”

“Allsvenskan? Yes, there are many good players back home these days. Sure you think about that. Anything is possible. I keep in touch. My whole family is Djurgården supporters so I know what’s going on. They (Djurgården) are going through a tough time right now and there are speculations about Tobias Hysen (their big star) going abroad.”

Have you heard anything from Djurgården?
“No, I haven’t. There are 1 or 2 clubs that are showing an interest,. But we’ll see. Nothing is concrete yet”>

This is the sort of thing every player can say in an interview. Of course he would prefer to play in the Prem., which player wouldn't? I don't think this shows any disloyalty to Leicester.

Thanks Blaarev. Puts it all in perspective.

Put the dogs back in their kennels.

Can we really blame Johansson for wanting to play in the premiership... I'm sure every one of our players wants to play there...

no you can't LF, but it is the perception that he feels he can't do that with LCFC that gets the reaction seen on this thread
