Ross Noble is definitely a northern thing IMO. All Northerners i know worship him, but i dont get the guy at all

And yeah Johnny Vegas is awful, but i did like him in the role as the landlord in an episode of Black Books.

I know lots of "Northerners", they have never mentioned him. Likewise, I have never heard of him. I blame my northerners for having never mentioned him.
 
Only ever seen him on Have I Got News For You and he was quite funny about immy Saville
 
My take appears to be that Vegas is a knobend, but is characters are very good and he plays them very well. That said, I don't think they are particularly complex characters.

I have never seen anything of him other than in Benidorm or Sex Lives of the Potato Men.
 
He once appeared on 'Win, Lose Or Draw' with famous Leyton Orient fan (as famous as they get) Bob Mills.

Sad thing was, Johnny was the member of the public. The celebrities of that episode included Yvette Fielding, Cheryl Baker, and Kriss Aka(fecking)busi.

In such witty company, Vegas failed to shine.
 
Gotta love 'Blackball' though. Even though Johnny Vegas is in it.
 
I believe Vegas very very nearly got the part of Sam in The Lord Of The Rings Triology
