I think it is a bad sign that some of these youngsters are getting bad advice about behaviour, or ignoring good advice. Yeates is described as cocky, Stearman is reported as being anywhere but training. Last season Ryan Smith was supposed to be the next great thing, but isn't as Derby have found out. Do some of these kids believe that having a professional contract means you turn up occasionally for training but it is OK to get rat-arsed the rest of the time?
Thats why teams that have good managers who can keep things under control have a great youth talent, for example yeates, stearman and smith, all controlled by kellp and CL, they were easy going and look what happends, they become lazy and lose there talent, a manager needs to hold a firm hand on his players.
